Welcome to Tina’s Kitchen
I have not been a good host for my website and I apologize for getting behind…but I have a GOOD REASON. My newest book, Entree to Judaism for Families-Kitchen Conversations Between Adults and Children is in the editing stage and will be available both digitally and in hard copy for your holiday gift giving in November!!! Entree for Families contains full color photos of every recipe and I made every dish so that you would know what it looks like; no glycerine or dyes or blow torches for browning. Each photo is the real deal. And each recipe is suitable for adults as well as children (actually, the Challah French Toast made with vanilla ice cream might never get to the kids’ mouths after an adult tastes it —but please do share!) The book tells the history or stories behind each recipe while guiding the adult to successfully help the child create memories in the kitchen. Perfect for every Grandparent out there! So stay tuned. Watch for more new recipes here on my website and enjoy the summer. Remember, the High Holy Days are very early this year so check out my recipes and be prepared!
Eat in Good Health!
PS Recipe-wise, to keep you up to date, I have been adding recipes weekly not only to this site but to my PINTEREST page http://pinterest.com/urj/tina-s-tidbits/.
Remember that all my recipes conform to the laws of Kashrut and Hallal. This means that the recipes are also good if you are a vegetarian or lactose intolerant! What you see is what you get. For example, if a recipe calls for a dairy product then you know it will not contain any meat and vegetarians can easily spot a great recipe to try. If a recipe calls for any type of meat, then all of you who are lactose intolerant know you can enjoy the recipe too!
